The Modules
The DWF Project Surfer
Automatically creating either a single or multi-sheet DWF(s) with intelligent cross-referencing between signal and destination wires, cross-referencing between parent and child components and also cross-referencing between schematic, terminal diagrams and assembly drawing.
This enables both internal staff and customers to navigate intelligently around designs.
Wire Routing
Automatically performs optimised cabinet cabling. From to lists ensure manufacturing times are drastically reduced. The software will automatically determine the shortest possible route between two components to reduce design times and cut your costs. Taking into account cable types, segregation of cables, eXtender will automatically route the wiring around the assembly model and produce reports automatically on trunking/ducting enabling the user to determine the optimum wire fill factor within the trunking and therefore the percentage packing density, the number of wires per trunking route etc along with wire cut lists.
Eliminate the need for engineers to spend hours designing the cabinet wiring diagrams.
Harness for AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical
The new product is set to launch soon and enables you to create and maintain intelligent harness layouts in AutoCAD, define harness multi core connections, signal paths, harness accessories, and automatically generate reports.
The Harness module allows AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical or Electrical Designer customers to create and maintain intelligent multi-conductor harnesses, and automatically obtain report data.
Intelligent Multi Core Cables
Harness specific commands allow you draw intelligent cables between connectors.
Automatically display information relating to the conductors within cables, including From To information, colour, signal etc.
Apply accessories, manufacturer's parts data, gauge and descriptions to cables and to the conductors within them.
Define Connections
Define the connections made between connector pins.
Set the pin signals, conductor colors, pin descriptions, and have the data automatically displayed in a graphical legend in your drawing.
Intelligence
All data entered in native AutoCAD dwg files is stored in a Microsoft Access Mdb format to ensure that data need only be entered once and is available in a common, easily accessible format
Reports can be automatically created and exported to Csv, Txt, Mdb, Xls, Xml, Doc, DIF, Html...Formats to provide easy interfacing to MRP, ERP systems
