AutoCAD P&ID offers significant advantages in productivity over standard AutoCAD and this can be achieved with ease by existing AutoCAD users.
The Cambashi project tests these claims so as to provide a company's CAD and process engineering community with real, relevant information on which to base the upgrade decision. The ‘headline' productivity gain is found to be in the region of 40%. This result was based on rigorous and wide-ranging tests of the AutoCAD P&ID capability.
The Cambashi Report describes the methodology used to conduct the test and sets out the results in detail. It also includes qualitative feedback from users about their experiences with the new system.
