WiseImage Geo Edition
WiseImage Pro Geo 7 is the ultimate solution for customers who work with both raster and vector data accompanied by attributive information. WiseImage Geo 7 utilizes the power of its raster-vector imagery editor and the raster to contour converter by means of a set of original geo-focused processing tools including the ability to develop custom processing scenarios. Multiple raster images can be loaded and the number of images handled simultaneously is virtually unlimited. - Special tools for cadastral and GIS
- The ability to create any number and type of Custom Coordinate Systems
- Intelligent objects selection and separation tools
- Image calibration by full or incomplete grid or by a set of arbitrary points using 10 advanced transformation methods
- Adaptive Blur tool designed for blurring non-uniform colour areas inside the colour transition boundaries of the image.
- R2V Colour Conversion command intended for recognition of the linear objects on the colour schematic raster images (topographical and contour maps, plans, schemes).
- Automatic or semi-automatic recognition of polygons and contours in raster imagery
- Special function for automatic conversion of raster parcels to closed polylines
- Collect Polylines command is designed for polylines assembling, which were created by the tracing or automatic vectorization
- Automatic polylines correction for cadastral maps
- Intelligent Arrange Elevation command with 3D preview and automatic calculation of the elevation on targeted polylines
- The ability to create multi-page raster images and to mosaic them in accordance with the current coordinate system
- GeoTIFF format support for loading and saving, including multi-page GeoTIFF; World File support for all raster formats
- Ability to create special geo-related functionality using scripting technology
- Advanced Line Style support. User-definable complex line styles that help to represent virtually any kind of line types such as state borders, railroads etc.
- In addition to standard Elevation attribute Object's, Custom Properties can also be added. Custom Object Properties can represent all necessary GIS Attributes for objects
- High-end WiseScan scan module with native support for the majority of large format scanners is also included.
Operations with raster objects and texts
WiseImage Geo 7 offers several advanced options for working with raster and vector data. The unique technology to select or separate raster objects, which is based on intelligent selection mechanisms and a brand new selection engine with the new WiseObject (text, hatches, lines) selection toolbar. WiseImage Geo 7 can recognize characters and numerals within the text block that the user is going to modify. This feature gives a perfect way to decrease the number of symbols you are going to type while editing the existing text blocks. WiseImage Geo 7 has a built-in OCR feature (there is a possibility to use optional external ABBYY FineReader OCR plug-in) that recognizes text strings at any angle on a drawing. WiseImage Geo 7 also allows the use of other external OCR modules. WiseImage Geo 7 includes the capability to learn how to recognize new text characters.
Open Architecture
WiseImage Geo 7 provides a revolutionary breakthrough giving it the ability to use the WiseImage open architecture and ActiveX technology creating automation and scripting tools. The Java script and VB script editor studio is available to customize WiseImage Geo 7 for an infinite number of user defined tasks. Scripts and procedures can be created and modified with ease. Moreover, the Script Studio and Batch Studio will help you to create complex processing scripts for GIS or cadastral data using drag and drop visual programming tools. You can also use the internal script language, OLE/DDE interface and Active Script support to execute WiseImage commands or to communicate with other applications.
Efficient map digitizing technology
WiseImage Geo 7 offers the most efficient maps digitize technology. First of all, it has a full Contex and TWAIN support, enabling high quality map scanning. Secondly, WiseImage Geo 7 provides the user with the possibility to snap images to the one or several coordinate systems and cleanup and calibration of the images. Further, it is possible using the smart WiseObject selection technology to separate text areas and symbols from the image. When the map or plan is prepared for digitizing, the user can select between the final quick raster to vector conversion capability or the smart tracing function. An advanced tracing function (interactive raster to vector conversion) can be used for monochrome, colour and greyscale images. In addition to simple graphics object tracing in WiseImage Geo 7, it is possible to trace raster shapes that correspond to pre-defined or imported vector templates. WiseImage Geo 7 will recognize the shape and match it to the appropriate vector object from the loaded symbol (block) library or a customized library designed to match the user's requirements. The polyline tracing feature has auto-detection of tracing direction. To finalize the digitizing process, WiseImage Geo 7 offers vector post-processing and editing features, both in automatic and manual modes. Moreover, special setup dialog for automatic polyline correction will help to save significant time. Finally, attributive information binding can be done.
Working with colour and greyscale raster maps
In WiseImage Geo 7 it is possible to crop colour and greyscale raster plans and maps, change their resolution and scale, deskew them, and eliminate linear and non-linear deformations using the calibration feature. Moreover a user can easily manage the colours of the image and create/edit LUT files using the Colour Classifier. It is possible to change brightness, contrast, hue and saturation and adjust the colour gamut of an image using a histogram, improve image quality and apply a set of colour filters (Blur, Unsharp, Mask, Median, Gamma Correction). With WiseImage Geo 7 , a user can draw on these images and create raster objects by rasterizing vector objects to colour raster, and merge monochrome and colour raster images.
System Requirements
Operating system: MS Windows 98SE/NT 4.0/2000/ME/XP.
Correct and stable operation with Windows 95 is not assured. Hardware: Pentium 166MHz or higher, 32 MB RAM or higher, 40-50 Mb on hard disk (depends on the installation type), SVGA with resolution 800x600 and 256* colours or more.
* Working in 256 colours mode is possible but not recommended. Incorrect raster image display may occur in True Colour mode.
